Publication Ethics and Best Practices

Green Publication Services Private Limited, the publisher of the International Journal for Research in Medicine and Health Sciences (IJRMHS), is committed to maintaining high standards of integrity, transparency, accountability, and ethical responsibility throughout the editorial, peer-review, and publication processes.

The publisher follows the ethical principles and best-practice recommendations of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Editorial and publication policies are reviewed periodically to support continuous improvement in scholarly quality and research integrity. Feedback from authors, reviewers, editors, and editorial board members is welcomed to help strengthen publication standards.

All manuscripts submitted to IJRMHS undergo a double-blind peer-review process in accordance with the journal's editorial policies and recognized scholarly publishing practices. Manuscripts considered suitable for review are evaluated by qualified reviewers with relevant subject expertise. Editorial assessments also consider clarity, technical accuracy, presentation, and compliance with applicable scholarly and ethical requirements. Minor grammatical, language, or technical corrections may be made where necessary, provided they do not alter the intellectual meaning or scientific findings of the work.

Research Misconduct Policy

Green Publication Services Private Limited follows COPE guidance when addressing allegations or suspicions of research misconduct in manuscripts submitted to or articles published in IJRMHS.

Research misconduct may include, but is not limited to:

  • Duplicate submission or redundant publication.

  • Plagiarism or inappropriate reuse of text, data, figures, or ideas without proper attribution.

  • Fabrication, falsification, or inappropriate manipulation of research data.

  • Citation manipulation or unethical authorship practices.

  • Undisclosed conflicts of interest.

When concerns are raised by reviewers, editors, readers, or other parties, the editorial office conducts an initial assessment and follows appropriate procedures, informed by relevant COPE guidance and flowcharts. Authors may be contacted and given an opportunity to respond, clarify the concerns, and provide supporting documentation where necessary.

Where concerns are substantiated, appropriate action may be taken depending on the nature and severity of the issue. Such action may include manuscript rejection, publication of a correction, an expression of concern, or retraction of a published article. If the integrity of the research cannot be established, the journal may take further action to protect the scholarly record.

Where necessary, unresolved cases may be referred to the authors' affiliated institutions or other relevant authorities, consistent with applicable procedures and ethical publishing practices.

Authorship Changes Policy

Green Publication Services Private Limited follows COPE guidance when considering requests to change authorship or contributorship for manuscripts submitted to or articles published in IJRMHS.

Authorship change requests may involve:

  • Addition of an author.

  • Removal of an author.

  • Change of the corresponding author.

  • Modification of the author order.

All requests must be submitted in writing with a clear explanation of the reasons for the proposed change. Written agreement from all affected authors, including authors being added or removed, must be obtained before a change is approved. The editorial office may request additional confirmation or supporting documentation where appropriate.

If all authors agree and the proposed change is adequately justified, the journal may approve and implement the modification. If a dispute arises or agreement cannot be reached, the journal may suspend consideration or publication of the manuscript, or defer action on a published article, until the matter is appropriately resolved. Where necessary, the issue may be referred to the authors' affiliated institutions for investigation.

Any approved authorship changes involving a published article will be handled transparently, with an appropriate notice or correction where required.

Green Publication Services Private Limited is committed to promoting ethical, responsible, and transparent scholarly publishing across its journals. Through the application of appropriate editorial procedures and relevant COPE recommendations, IJRMHS seeks to safeguard research integrity, address ethical concerns fairly, and maintain the reliability of the scholarly record.
